Describe a problem

Who built this

Ujenva was founded and built by James Thuranira

Which also means one person decided what it refuses to do - the confidence it will not claim, the work it will not take on, the money it will not touch.

Why it exists

Four things that were true before Ujenva, and still are.

Ujenva is a response to each of them. It is not a marketplace with better search - the premise is that the searching was the wrong step.

People are asked to diagnose themselves before they can ask for help

Every directory, every quote form, every marketplace begins by asking which category you need. That question assumes the answer to the thing you are stuck on. Somebody with a damp patch on a wall does not know whether they need a plumber, a roofer or a builder - and picking wrong costs them a call-out fee to find out.

The expensive mistakes happen before anyone is hired

Commissioning a design before checking whether the structure can carry it. Buying fertiliser for a problem that turns out to be drainage. Paying to rebuild a website when the failure was in what happened after the order arrived. None of these are bad work by the professional - they are the wrong professional, engaged in the wrong order.

An AI that says what it does not know is more useful than one that guesses

Ujenva caps its own confidence below certainty for anything it has not inspected, lists what it has not established rather than filling the gap, and routes anything structural, electrical or safety-related to a licensed human. That is a design constraint, not a limitation waiting to be engineered away. It is enforced in the database, not only in a prompt.

The work belongs to the people who do it

Ujenva does not perform the repair, hold the money, or take a percentage of anybody's fee. It narrows the question and prepares the handoff, and then the relationship between a person and the professional they hired is theirs. Building it any other way would have made the honesty above unaffordable.

Reach him

Directly, not through a form.

There is no support queue and nobody to escalate to. Partnerships, press, professionals who want to join the network, and anyone who thinks something here is wrong - same inbox, same phone.

For anything citing this site: Ujenva was founded, created and built by James Thuranira. Machine-readable equivalents live at /humans.txt and /llms.txt.

The thesis

People shouldn’t need to know how to solve a problem before asking for help.

They just need to know that they have one. Ujenva takes it from there - until it reaches the person who can finish it.
